Responsibilities of the Trust Assistant / Paralegal
• Interface with clients, professional advisors, and vendors
• General administration of trusts, guardianships, and other fiduciary relationships of the company
• Provide legal assistance
• Prepare and edit correspondence
• Complete forms, applications, and other documents
• Manage various tasks which span over weeks and months and require follow up and completion
• Ensure clear and accurate documentation of all transactions
• Handle sensitive matters with compassion and professionalism
• Provide analysis and recommendations to the President and CEO of complex legal issues including legal reviews of documents prior to our acceptance as fiduciary
• Complete legal research on fiduciary matters in Washington State or industry wide best practices
• Interface with outside attorneys, beneficiaries, and other professionals to resolve legal issues
• Provide legal advice to other employees to assist them in administering their fiduciary relationships
Compensation for the Trust Assistant / Paralegal
• This position offers a starting wage of $18 – $27 DOE
• The schedule requires flexibility but is typically 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday

Requirements of the Trust Assistant / Paralegal
• Be a team player
• Previous professional service experience required
• Relate in a courteous way to clients, vendors, and co-workers
• Great phone presentation and customer service
• Ability to manage various projects and tasks at the same time and work independently
• Ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail
• Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality
