Compensation for the Talent Acquisition Position
• $24.45 Per Hour
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
• This is a temporary position expected to last 18 months, but could become permanent for the right candidate
Responsibilities for the Talent Acquisition Position
• Build internal and external job postings from current job descriptions
• Communicate needed job description updates with hiring managers and HR
• Post jobs on the career portals and additional external sites
• Perform initial qualification screening of resumes and route as needed by hiring managers and HR
• Assist with coordinating interviews with hiring managers as needed (in person, video, or phone)
• Work within the HRIS system to update, open, close, or put on hold jobs as needed
• Facilitate the hand off of selected candidates to the on-boarding stage
• Other administrative tasks as needed to support the talent acquisition team
Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Position
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/HR or related
• 2 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition support required
• Experience posting jobs and working with job descriptions required
Qualifications for the Talent Acquisition Position
• Experience communicating with candidates and hiring managers required
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is required and ATS or HRIS, preferably PeopleSoft desired
• Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer focused and team oriented
• Demonstrated ability to cope well with change, risk, and uncertainty (ambiguity) and act decidedly with incomplete or imperfect information
Physical requirements for the Talent Acquisition Position
• Prolonged standing or sitting
• Flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination
• Work involves reading and interpretation of written information in hard copy and on computer screen, communication on the telephone and in person, effective and efficient operation of computer and effective writing skills
• Some occasional travel may be required which could include travel by automobile, aircraft (commercial or chartered) or other general transportation means.
