Responsibilities of the Shipping Clerk Assistant:
This position is responsible for efficiently processing faxed/EDI packing lists in the pre-notification process and setting up scanning sessions for the Receiving Department when trucks arrive. Will assist the truck drivers as they arrive with processing the orders as they come in. You may also be calling in orders.
You will perform various clerical tasks such as copy, fax and/or print documents; prepare correspondence for distribution management, assemble, distribute, and maintain department files. Other duties may include assisting with inventory control and other shipping/receiving tasks.
Compensation for the Shipping Clerk Assistant:
Starting wage is $16 per hour
Monday – Friday day shift with hours 6 am – 2:30 pm

Requirements of the Shipping Clerk:
• 2 to 4 years of administrative experience
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Demonstrate sound work ethic. Positive attitude, hard worker, take care of all staff
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
