Compensation for the Quality Inspector

• $52,000 - $72,500 Annually DOE

Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of composite and machined aerospace components.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) in compliance with AS9102 standards.
• Operate and interpret measurements using FARO Arm or similar coordinate measuring systems.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed inspection records.
• Support FAA conformity inspections as required.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal QMS procedures.
• Identify and communicate non-conformances effectively.

Requirements for the Quality Inspector

• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related field.
• Proficient in First Article Inspections (AS9102) and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with FARO Arm or similar portable CMM equipment.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and FAA conformity processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
