Responsibilities of the Payroll Accountant
As the Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for payroll processing and development, and coordination / implementation of system changes and enhancements. In addition, you will be analyzing financial statements and records that relate to payroll and checking for any discrepancies or issues and completeness. It is important that you have a working knowledge of local / federal state payroll laws, and you must have knowledge of pay practices relating to hourly and salaried team members. If you have knowledge of 401(K) reporting / accounting / auditing, that is a plus!
Compensation for the Payroll Accountant
This position offers a wage of $24 + DOE. The schedule is Monday thru Friday 7am-4pm. Full benefits available upon hire.
Requirements of the Payroll Accountant
• Strong attention to detail
• 1-3 years payroll experience
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to pass drug, background, and credit screening
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiar with payroll software
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
