We’ve got two contract-to-hire opportunities with our busy manufacturing client. Day shift is located at their Spokane Valley facility and swing shift is located at North Spokane location. Once trained up with the processes, you’ll be working independently but still very connected to a team to keep the warehouse and production floor humming. Prior material handler and forklift experience is required.
Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
You’ll be responsible for receiving supplies using a forklift, pulling orders from inventory, delivering materials to the production floor and various workstations, and staging finished product for shipping. You’re on your feet all day, covering a lot of ground providing materials and products to a variety of departments. Working from a variety of formats; pick sheets, bills of lading, invoices, and other formats, you’ll quickly and accurately manage the flow of required materials and product in and out of your warehouse. This is a position in which you’ll have the opportunity to assist in other areas as your workload allows such as opening containers using a steel cutter, crowbar and other duties to support production floor.
Compensation for the Material Handler:
Day shift is M-F 7:00 am- 3:30 pm with starting wage of $13.50 .
Swing shift is M-Thur 2:00 pm – 12:30 am with starting wage $14.50.
