Read on – this temporary job assignment is especially for you! Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Spokane Valley area, is adding support in their Material’s Department.
Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
In this position of Material Handler, you will start your training in the shipping and receiving area and then be trained in other areas in the Materials Department.
You will be responsible for managing the flow of materials from incoming goods, proper storage of inventory, pulling parts for the production team and preparing packages for shipping. You will use your strong organizational skills to prioritize jobs and use your great attention to detail to ensure accuracy with all packages and material storage.
This is a fast-paced position and accuracy is just as critical as speed. There is the potential for interruptions so an ability to multitask is a must and will take your exceptional ability to anticipate problems and resolve them before they even know they’re supposed to show up!
Compensation for the Material Handler:
• Starting wage is $15 per hour
• Hours: M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Requirements of the Material Handler:
• Material Handler or Inventory experience preferred
• Strong basic computer skills
• Reliability – proven through work history
• Ability to lift to 50lbs occasionally
• Able to work independently as well as being a team player
