Facilities Maintenance Technician

Now hiring for a Facilities Maintenance position with this manufacturing firm in Spokane, WA! This 30+ year old company is looking to add someone to help with Facilities Maintenance. This person will be working on a variety of different tasks within the facility that could include troubleshooting equipment, limited grounds work, light duty projects and more. If you have facilities maintenance experience this could be the job for you!

Compensation for the Facilities Maintenance position

• Starting wage of $20 – $30 DOE
• Schedule will be M-F, 7am – 3:30pm with potential overtime and shift changes as needed

Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance position

• Trouble shooting and repair of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Limited grounds work including sprinkler repair, painting, walkway maintenance
• Project work which may include light construction, furniture assembly, compressed airlines, office/equipment moves
• Support maintenance team with machine maintenance and custodial duties as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements of the Facilities Maintenance position

• 3+ years facilities maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift experience
• General plant and facilities maintenance experience including but not limited to, electrical (3 phase power), HVAC, plumbing, janitorial, welding and hydraulics preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30ft on a platform lift
• Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs regularly
