Compensation for the CNC Brake Press Operator

• $18 – $28 per hour DOE
• Monday – Thursday, 5 am – 3:30 pm (4 – 10 hour shifts)

Responsibilities of the CNC Brake Press Operator

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements
• Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job
• Measure dimensions of completed workpieces using precision measuring instruments
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
• Assemble and fabricate sheet metal components using hand tools

Requirements of the CNC Brake Press Operator

• 3 years experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Strong knowledge of CNC press brake machine setup, operation, and maintenance preferred
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to work with various types of sheet metal materials
• Experience in quality inspection of finished products
• Ability to use hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks
