Our client, one of the BEST home-grown retailers in Spokane, is adding a new position to their back office team. This Assistant Office Manager role will have a heavy focus on bookkeeping and general accounting functions. If you’ve got 3+years bookkeeping/accounting experience and are ready to expand your roll into a career, this could be for you.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Office Manager:
Remembering that you will eventually be trained in ALL of the Office Manager duties to be able to provide complete back-up, your primary duties will be accounting related. Managing A/R, A/P, Payroll processing, reconciliations, and GL work. You constantly need to know the “why” behind a process and that inquisitive nature will thrive in this environment where you will be analyzing data for errors and researching the fixes. This is a new position, so bring your desire and skills to make this your own!
Compensation for the Assistant Office Manager:
You’ll be joining a team that is more like family than co-workers. M-F 8-5. Hourly pay rate $22-$24 DOE with an outstanding benefit package and employee discount perks.
Requirements of the Assistant Office Manager:
• You’re inquisitive and driven to find the right answer
• 3+ years bookkeeping experience
• Strong Financial Statement prep skills
• Proficient MS Office skills
• Knowledge of Epicor Eagle software preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• You always take ownership of your role to take it to the next level
